GET READY!!!!!

Does your little one love to interact with books? Well capture them in action as you share a story with them or they “read” by themselves. Photos will be voted on and the most endearing picture in each category will win a prize.

Participant rules:

1. Open to babies aged 6 months – 2 ½ years that are library members. Names will be kept anonymous during the voting period.
2. All photos must include the baby and a book appropriate for their age.
3. Participants can enter photos for all three categories, but once a participant has won in a category, they cannot win in subsequent categories.

Week One – Reading Outside

1. Photo must show the baby with their book in an outdoor area (on grass/sand/a blanket, etc).
2. Photos must be emailed by Saturday, January 18. Voting period will be January 19-24, with winner announced on the January 25.

Week Two – Reading With a Pet or Stuffed Animal

1. Photo must show a pet or stuffed animal (or both) alongside the baby and their book.
2. Photos must be emailed by Saturday, January 25. Voting period will be January 26-31, with winner announced on  February 1.

Week Three – Reading With a Parent

1. Photo must show at least one parent or legal guardian alongside the baby and their book.
2. Photos must be emailed by Saturday, February 1. Voting period will be February 2-7, with winner announced on  February 8.

Voter rules:

1. Voters must be library members, and use their library card numbers in the voting form. Library cards are free! Tell your friends and family to pick up a library card at the Main Library at 13 Queen Street so they can be ready to vote!
